Add concentration after the juice or puree decision An evaporation module changes product flow, utilities and cleaning without changing the base extraction route.
Keep extraction separate Juice extraction removes a liquid from tissue; puree processing retains a controlled tissue fraction. Concentration removes water from the chosen product downstream. A request for concentrate still needs to say whether the feed is juice or puree and define the solids measurement.
Evaluate the difficult end condition As concentration proceeds, flow behaviour, deposits and heat transfer can change. A system suitable for a relatively fluid juice cannot automatically be specified for a fibrous puree. Request sample work at the proposed final condition, not just a test of dilute feed.
Connect the whole scope The feed tank, evaporator, vapour system, concentrate pump and subsequent treatment/filling must be sized together. Record thermal exposure and product quality limits. Concentration alone is not a preservation claim or a guarantee of ambient storage.
Bring to the project review Juice or puree feed specification Initial/final solids with measurement method Viscosity and fouling trial evidence Steam, cooling, vacuum and downstream scope Discuss these conditions ↗ Equipment affected by this decision Optional concentration module Juice or puree with known solids and flow behaviour → Concentrated product and separated water vapour/condensate
Configuration and equipment drawing follow the confirmed process scope. Downstream option
Increase the agreed solids level after the base juice or puree route has been established.
In Juice or puree with known solids and flow behaviour Out Concentrated product and separated water vapour/condensate Product buffer and transfer system Juice or puree at a measured process condition → Controlled feed to concentration, treatment or an existing process
Configuration and equipment drawing follow the confirmed process scope. Downstream interface
Keep the correct product branch moving without losing its capacity and hygiene boundaries.
In Juice or puree at a measured process condition Out Controlled feed to concentration, treatment or an existing process Equipment presentation Validated finishing scope
Provide the heating, holding and cooling interfaces required by the qualified process design.
In Defined juice or puree formulation at specified feed conditions Out Product meeting the validated process condition for the package route General process and safety references: sources and evidence . Operating conditions require the actual product and qualified process review.
