Integration

Check every hand-off between machines

Confirm flange standards, line elevations, pump suction conditions, buffer capacity, control signals, cleaning coverage and safe access. A collection of individually capable machines can still form an unstable line if those interfaces are left to site improvisation.

For each item, request a duty point and the product basis behind it. A motor rating or vessel volume is not a complete performance definition.

Mechanical

Dimensions, access, supports, connections, materials and surface finish.

Process

Flow range, pressure, temperature, hold-up and product limits.

Control

Signals, permissives, recipes, alarms, records and manual fallback.

Life-cycle check

Access and cleaning belong in the purchase decision

Review how screens, seals, valves and wear parts are inspected and changed. Confirm lifting space, drainage, isolation and the spare-parts list before the layout is frozen. These details affect uptime more reliably than an unsupported efficiency slogan.
