Carrot Juice Yield Trial Record

Measure root intake, pressed juice and residue over one timed carrot extraction run.

Name the root boundary

Record accepted root mass, incoming condition, variety where known and the cleaning/drainage boundary. Weigh preparation rejects and trimming separately from press residue.

Compare extraction on one batch

Record crushing and any preheating history, press arrangement, operating time and interruptions. Collect liquid, wet fibre and retained inventory over the same interval. A press result cannot establish packed-product output without downstream losses.

Check the chosen product

Label press-juice and finished-juice samples with temperature, the agreed solids/appearance method and sampling time. Confirm acceptance before using measured extraction figures in the project brief.

Take the record into your RFQ

Download the blank carrot trial and site worksheet from the homepage. Complete it with observations from your own roots and site; it contains no prefilled operating result.

Common preparation

Multi-stage root washing system

Remove heavy soil through pre-washing, brush washing and a clean-water final rinse before inspection and cutting.

In
Raw roots with soil and adhering debris
Out
Washed roots with accessible surfaces for inspection
Carrot juice extraction press

Prepared root mash suitable for pressing → Extracted liquid and a fibre-rich press residue

Configuration and equipment drawing follow the confirmed process scope.

Juice branch

Carrot juice extraction press

Separate a liquid stream from prepared carrot tissue while maintaining a measurable side-stream balance.

In
Prepared root mash suitable for pressing
Out
Extracted liquid and a fibre-rich press residue
